Hi Vaibhav,

I also could not make out any obvious errors in the output of the make
process.

I think the one important question that remains is, how do you want to
use OpenBabel and which errors do you get if you try to execute it. Do
you use it via the command line? What happens if you execute "obabel
--help", "babel -H", "which obabel" or "which babel" (assuming you have
"which" installed)? Do you want to use the GUI? There might just be an
issue of some runtime paths not being set correctly.
