Wiki

Geoffrey Hutchison

Based on significant positive feedback, there's an Open Babel wiki
that will eventually replace the current website.

http://openbabel.sf.net/wiki/

Plans:
  - The API documentation will still be static, but will use the wiki
"style" sidebar, etc.
  - The formats database is in the process of being wiki-fied. Right
now, it's a manual job -- any hints to automate it would be appreciated.

No URLs will be harmed in the change -- I'll make sure the old
THANKS.shtml becomes a redirect to the new Wiki-fied page.

Cheers,
-Geoff

Re: Wiki

Dr N. O'Boyle
I've added a small section about compiling the SWIG wrappers to the
OpenBabel wiki but...

Shouldn't it be at least necessary to login or something to edit the
Wiki? I've heard that graffiti is a problem...unless you have a system
to deal with this...e.g. some type of automatic review process.

Just wondering,
  Noel
