pybel installation problem on windows (64bits) machine

Julee Adesara
Hi,

I am trying to install pybel (64bits) and testing the
installation. somehow i am getting the below error
message (though machine is running on 64bit):

>>> import pybel
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File "C:\Python27\lib\site-packages\pybel.py", line 16, in <module>
    import openbabel as ob
  File "C:\Python27\lib\site-packages\openbabel.py", line 28, in <module>
    _openbabel = swig_import_helper()
  File "C:\Python27\lib\site-packages\openbabel.py", line 24, in swig_import_helper
    _mod = imp.load_module('_openbabel', fp, pathname, description)
ImportError: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

Can you help me please.

Thanks.

Did you install 64-bit Open Babel 2.4.1? You may have a 32-bit version
installed and this would conflict with it.
